Marinara Sauce is a traditional pizza sauce made with tomatoes and basil leaves.

Basil leaves gives freshness to this sauce. Homemade sauce/ Pizza sauce is always good not only for health but in taste and flavor too. I always prefer to prepare a fresh pizza sauce every time when I plan to make Pizzas. But if making in large quantity it can be easily stored in an airtight container up to a week into the refrigerator.

There are many variations of pizza sauces but this is unique and simple and easy to cook.

The best part of this sauce is that it can be used for pasta as well. So its not wrong if I call it Pizza-Pasta sauce.

How to use Marinara Sauce on pizza?

To make any kind of Pizza just take home made Pizza dough and roll it with the help of rolling pin. Then just spread marinara sauce or Pizza sauce to your pizza base followed by some cheese and toppings. To know how to make Pizza at home with home made Pizza dough click here.

How to use Marinara Sauce to make Pasta?

To make a quick pasta just boil your choice of pasta as per the instructions of the packet with some salt and few drops of oil. Oil prevents pasta from sticking. Drain out pasta and take out in a dish and pour a nice quantity of marinara sauce to your pasta and its ready to eat.
