Mint chutney is very refreshing dip for your Snacks, Parathas, Sandwiches. This is very easy to make and you can keep it up to 3-4 days in refrigerator.

Ingredients

  • Mint Leaves – 1/2 cup

  • Coriander Leaves – 1/2 cup

  • Chili – 1-2

  • Shallots – 3-4 (can replace with 1 small onion)

  • Ginger – 1 inch

  • Jaggery – 1/2 tsp(optional)

  • Lemon Juice – 1tsp

  • Cumin Seeds – 1/3 tsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Water to grind.

Directions

  • Add all the above ingredients in mixer and grind until smooth.
  • Adjust water, salt according to your taste.

Tips

  • If you add onions / shallots then shelf life is less.
  • Jaggery gives little sweetness to this chutney but if you want you can skip adding jaggery.
  • Add lemon juice while grinding only as it will maintain the green colour of mint leaves.
