Whole wheat Cookies Without Oven

Whole wheat Cookies / Atta Cookies are delicious snacks and are also healthy because they are made with whole-wheat flour instead of regular whole purpose flour. These cookies can be enjoyed more with your morning or evening tea. Today I am going to share how to bake whole wheat cookies without oven . So you need not worry if you do not have oven, you can still make cookies.

I like chocolate flavor so I made these yummy chocolate cookies with some chocolate chips on them. These cookies are crunchy and crispy. Though you could make buttery / chewy cookies as well.

If you want to avoid sugar you could use any other sweetener like jaggery etc. Home made cookies can be customized based on your health needs and taste so give a try , they are easy to cook. If you do not have chocolate chips you can add any dry-fruits (Almond, Cashew etc.) . You can store the cookies in air tight container and they are generally good to eat for at least 2-3 weeks.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp – Butter

  • 1/2 Cup – Powdered Sugar

  • 1 Cup – Whole Wheat Flour/ Atta

  • 2 Tsp – Coco Powder

  • A Pinch – Baking Soda

  • Some Choco-chips

Directions

  • Preheat Pan
  • Take a pan, place a stand and cover the lid.
  • Keep this pan on gas stove or induction on low heat to preheat it.
  • Preparation of Cookies
  • In a mixing bowl take melted butter.
  • Add sugar into it mix until sugar dissolves.
  • Add rest of the ingredients.
  • Make a smooth, soft dough.
  • Divide dough into 15-16 equal portions.
  • Shape cookies and place them onto a greased tray.
  • Decorate with some chocolate chips.
  • Bake Cookies
  • Place prepared tray in preheated pan.
  • Let it cook for around 12-15 mins on low heat.
  • Take out Tray once done and enjoy!

Tips

  • Number of cookies depends on size of cookies.
  • If you do not have chocolate chips you can add any dry-fruits (Almond, Cashew etc.)
  • I suggest to check after 12 mins while cooking.
  • Let it cool then enjoy crispy cookies, if it is not cooled completely it will not be crispy.
  • You can store the cookies in air tight container.
